Brady Speaks at St Patrick Catholic School in Tacoma

Brady spoke at St. Patrick Catholic School in Tacoma, WA to the 3rd-5th grade and 6th-8th grade classes. Brady talked to the 3rd-5th grade classes about Smiley's Smile, storytelling, and his personal experience overcoming adversity at a young age. Brady talked to the 6th-8th grade classes about his personal cancer journey, how to create their personal brand, and empowerment.

"Our students were recently blessed to have Brady Lucas visit our school to offer presentations on his book, "Smiley's Smile". He offered two different sessions (one for grades 3-5, and one for grades 6-8). Brady skillfully catered the content to be sensitive to the maturity level of the age groups at hand. He was well-prepared and personable as he found ways to enlighten students about what is an inherently difficult topic. Although the story in "Smiley's Smile" is about having cancer, it also provides hope and helps to demonstrate the benefits of true friendship.
