Brady had the special opportunity to be on the steering committee for the 2nd Childhood Cancer Prevention Symposium hosted by Texas Children's on February 10-13. The event featured participants from major academic-research institutions like Texas Children's/ Baylor College of Medicine, Penn State University, University of Nebraska, University of Minnesota, University of California San Francisco, University of California Berkley, Emory College of Medicine, and more. The event also featured participants from leading non-profit organizations including but not limited to, PREP4Gold, Children's Environmental Health Network, Live Like Bella, Andrew McDonough B+ (Be Positive) Foundation, Teen Cancer America, The Cure Starts Now, The EVAN Foundation, Carson Leslie Foundation, KOAStrong, and A Moment of Magic.

"We are at the cutting-edge of a paradigm shift within pediatric oncology. I believe our efforts in childhood cancer prevention will continue to move forward through symposiums like these and creating a Childhood Cancer Prevention Consortium." Brady

The event was also special as Brady's mom, Lisa Erney, attended the event and the two shared the stage for the first time together. Another amazing part of the event was having two of Brady's original nurses join the symposium and take back lessons learned to Penn State Health Children's Hospital.
